Are you open all year?
Yes, the campground is open year-round. Winter is the quietest time of the year here on the coast, and the locals and off-season visitors take this time to relax peacefully away from the crowds.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome under the following conditions:
- No excessive barking
- Pets must be kept on a leash, and must be accompanied by owner at all times
- You must clean up after your pet
What is your guest policy?
Guests are allowed for a fee of $3/person/night. This includes access to pool, bathhouse, fishing pond, and other facilities. Guests must check in with the office on arrival.
What are your check-in/check-out times?
Check-in is at 2pm. Check-out is at noon.
Are campfires allowed?
Yes, campfires are allowed in the fire pits provided. Firewood is available at the office.

How far are you from the Cedar Island / Ocracoke Ferry?
We are approximately 1.5 hours from the Cedar Island Ferry landing. The NC Ferry System usually requires you to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ferry departure time. For more information, call (800) BY-FERRY or visit NC DOT's Ferry Division.
